Bob Gosse
Senior Associate

Bob Gosse is a seasoned executive with over 30 years of senior management and consulting experience. Currently CEO of NG Associates Inc. Bob comes to Wape’k Kuntew Aboriginal Consulting with a wealth of knowledge in the Aerospace Maintenance & Engineering and Airport Security industry, as well as consulting services in Aboriginal Affairs, Business Development, Government Relations, and Mergers and Acquisitions.

Before his retirement in May 2012 as Operations Manager for the Canadian Air Transport Security Authority, Bob was instrumental in ensuring aviation security by overseeing audits to guarantee regulatory compliance throughout Atlantic Canada.

During his appointment as President of CHC Composites, Bob supervised the construction and maintenance of a state-of-the art composite facility located at Gander International Airport. His proven track record as a leader of successful teams enabled him to deliver increased profitability and revenues throughout his tenure.

Bob has made significant contributions to Air Atlantic where he previously held the position of Vice-President of Maintenance and Operations as well as to the Newfoundland Government Air Services as Director of Maintenance and Engineering. Throughout his career, he has made a positive impact in the area of recruitment and retention due to his strong customer focus and commitment to open communication.

Bob is a proud member of the Qalipu Mi’kmaq First Nation Band of Newfoundland & Labrador. He has served on various boards and committees, including as a member of the board of directors for the Aboriginal Peoples Television Network (APTN) on behalf of Newfoundland & Labrador and board of directors for Canadian Council for Aboriginal Business (CCAB).

Doug Power
Senior Associate

Doug Power is an expert and innovator of extensive experience in health-related technology systems and is the developer of clinical programs and services. This experience has extended over a period of more than 30 years.

Mr. Power has owned and managed national and international corporate companies. He is a facilitator for corporations that are seeking opportunities to deploy their technology or products and services nationally and/or internationally.

Over the past several years, Mr. Power has traveled extensively while living and working in the state of Qatar as a contractor and as an employee of the College of the North Atlantic Qatar (CNA-Q). While in Qatar, Mr. Power has consulted with private groups and individuals in both the health and wellness business and the importing and exporting industry.

Mr. Power has cultivated a unique relationship with Qatari Nationals and has developed two trading companies and a consulting company for Qatari families. Mr. Power has extended his reach in other Gulf Corporation Countries (GCC) and other Arabic countries.

Mr. Power is co-founder of the Atlantic Trading Corporation along with Mrs. Wanda Cuff Young of Work Global Canada Inc. and WhiteRock Consulting & Communication.

Through these strategic alliances, Atlantic Trading Corporation has created a gateway to the Middle East and South-East Asia to develop new trade and business opportunities. In particular, the connection with Qatar will enhance that country’s capabilities for food security and other technologies that are of interest to Qatar’s homeland securities.

Mr. Power is a strong advocate of the Indigenous culture in Western Newfoundland and Labrador. His wife and children are proud members of the Qalipu First Nations. Both sides of Mr. Power’s family have roots that go deep in the Mi’kmaq culture.
